LinkedIn Hashtag Sorting

The owner of my company wants to do some competition research on LinkedIn to see what similar firms and leaders within our industry are posting.
When I click on hashtags that I'm following, the "top posts" don't seem to have any rhyme or reason. e.g. the number one result sorted by top has zero likes or engagement of any kind.
Is there a way to sort hashtag search results by "top posts" over a defined time period. When searching a hashtag, it only give me the option to sort by relevance or latest.
Also, does "top posts" sort by total likes, engagement, or reach?
