On multiple sites, Facebook comments/sharing plugins appear for me in Korean

On many sites that use Facebook social plugins, like commenting or the like button, the interface appears to me in Korean (at least, I think it's Korean). The thing is: It's not all sites. Some appear to me in English, as I expect. It remains in Korean even when I'm logged out and refresh the blog post or web page.
I haven't been able to find any language settings anywhere I could adjust to make sure I'm seeing the interface in English. Does anyone out there have any ideas on how to change this? Is this a misconfiguration on the part of many sites I happen to visit, or is it on my end?
