What is the best format to upload in GIPHY so it looks good on Twitter and WhatsApp?

I recently got approved on GIPHY so now my channel is searchable on Twitter, whatsapp, and wherever GIPHY channels are searchable. My GIF quality looks amazing on the GIPHY site itself, but on other social media platforms (WhatsApp especially) they look very pixelated compared to other searchable GIFs.
I reached out to GIPHY and they told me to reach out to WhatsApp directly, however I got no response.
Does anyone know what format you should be uploading GIFs to GIPHY so they look clean on other social media platforms? Thanks!
