FB ads campaign to get IG Dms not working???

So I set up an ad campaign from the Facebook Ads Manager. Location: Insta stories. Objective: DMS. I did this 2 days ago and though I've seen the ad running from another account and I sent a DM to test it, Ads Manager is still showing me "--" on everything: impression, reach, results, etc.
The campaign appears as "active" but other than my test messages I've gotten no new messages from it and as I mentioned, Ads Manger is showing no results either. Not even 100 impressions but 0 results. Just "--" on everything, like the campaign was still experimenting but I'm not getting any messages either.
Does anybody know what's going on? Has any of this happened to you guys before? Should I just cancel the campaign and just post the videos as stories on IG and boost them from there? Help :(
