The Role of a Social Media Manager

Hello! A friend recommended me this subreddit (I just lurk reddit in general) so I hope you guys can help me.
I've been a "Social Media Manager" for 4 years in the gaming industry for two companies. However, I'm confused as to what really should be my role.
At the first company I had the main responsibilities of:
- Creating or sharing community content to the social channels
- Handling any customer service requests by forwarding them to the correct people
- Being a point-of-contact for community influencers
- Creating analytic reports and figuring out what did well/didn't
This company was bigger and more restrictive in the sense of I had to post 4 times a day, everyday no matter what and I didn't have a say over any scheduling.
Now the second company I thought would be an upgrade since it pays way more, however my responsibilities now are:
- Hit post after a collaborative effort of 5-6 people being involved in what the content and copy should be and when it should be posted.
- Create analytic reports and take the blame when something does not perform well, but everyone else jumps in when something does because it was a "team effort".
- Work with the graphic designer to organize what graphics are needed and when.
- Point of contact for a single influencer but told that this should be someone else's full time job.
I am confident if I go to my manager and outline what my role should be then they will redefine it but even with 4 years experience I still feel like an amateur. This is where I'd like to hear what you guys do in your roles as SMM, preferably hired by a single company rather than multiple clients. A run down of your average day/responsibilities will help me apply what I should be doing. Thank you so much!
