Should I convert my growing personal account to my Personality/Brand account and lose my Personal 'identity' (create a new one) or try and reboot my Brand account from scratch and keep my personal account?

I have a dilemma I can't wrap my head around and want some advice.
I have a personal Instagram. Let's call it JonDoe. It goes with my personal twitter/twitch/youtube.
On it, I have mixed personal content and brand content as a streamer/youtuber.
It's all growing very well, and I have over 1k on insta, growing daily, but I want to rebrand my JonDoe account to my streamer brand, lets call it SillyGamerStuff and start posting more funny / on-brand content.
I figured I'd just start a second account for JonDoe's personal stuff, for family, friends, girlfriend, etc and run with the momentum on my main account, now named SillyGamerStuff (don't eff with momentum, right?)
My only hangup, is that I would basically lose all my personal history on my JonDoe -> now SillyGamerStuff.
"lose" as in, all my personal stuff from before I started this online personality, from about 2 years back, so 5 years or so of history, would be buried under all the brand content. Of course, I'd have my 'new' personal account.
So then, one obvious solution of course, is if I think my brand is strong enough, keep my main account as my personal one, and start fresh, completely from scratch with a new SillyGamerStuff account.
But then I'm worried it will take months, or even years, to build up that brand to the following and moment I have now if I start from scratch.
In a nutshell:
I think the dilemma here is that I have a mix of personal friends and online randos that follow my account as it grows. I'm much less concerned about how / where my family and friends mind me, because they will, and more interested in how to make sure my followers don't bail.
tl;dr:
Should I continue rolling my growing personal account into my online personality / brand of Youtuber / Streamer and start a new strictly personal account. ( JonDoe -> SillyGamerStuff , + new private JonDoe)
Or should I keep my account strictly personal, and attempt to restart my online personality / brand in a brand new account. (Keep JonDoe, make new SillyGamerStuff)
