Please help a very confused a frustrated instagram user (growth/automation/etc)

Hi !
I'm a photographer and willing to try new stuff to grown in instagram, but I dont know much about managing a professional profile to attract more more clients, at the moment a tried to use automation services to get more ppl to see my work, in the end, I got a good number of followers but not that many clients, which makes me think that I ended up setting the wrong persona/profile in the automation system and ended up target the wrong ppl, at this point I have 1300 followers, and I would like to know what to do in this situation?
At the time of this post I'm considering a few questions:
Should I create a brand new instagram profile ? (one that I wont use automation systems)
Try to get a growth enough to get verified tag from instagram ? (which idk exactly how to get it)
As far as my photos/portfolio is concerned, the general feedback from ppl around is that the pictures are very good, ofc, I always keep studying, but I belive the main issue is my work as a salesperson.
