Lost access to old Description Pinterest e-Mail, can still login. Any way to change e-Mail address?

I was a bit stupid and seems to have missed changing one email address. Now I have a Pinterest account, where I can logon to, but it still has the old email address (with a domain i don't own anymore).
Anyone knows a way how to change the email of this account, or has some help here?
Pinterest send out a confirmation email to the old email and I cant click it. Support is not really helpful (which btw is awe full).
I'd love to use that account, as it has a few followers, but doesn't make sense before I can change the e-Mail. I am not even sure I can delete this account.
