Facebook Groups: Do I have to be active to get more likes on my posts?

I'm in a Facebook group of dogs and I've noticed I got much less likes than others, even though my contents are no less interesting. Even posts with simple contents get more likes than mine. I was wondering if Facebook groups also have algorithm that more active users will have posts more visible to others?
