How to turn my social media channels into a lead generating source of new customers for my small local business
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
Hey there -
I run a local photo booth company that serves the bay area (California). Almost all of my traffic + customers so far have come from google adwords. I'd love to figure out a way to turn my social media presence into a way to discover new potential customers. I know this takes time and effort and I'm willing to put that in, but I'm a total newbie when it comes to knowing what I'm even supposed to be doing.
I have a few questions :
- Because my business is a photo booth business I have TONS of pictures, but they're all kind of the same (a few people huddled together with fun props having fun). How important is it to mix up the content?
- Is there any sort of formula for how often to post? Right now I'm doing once a day
- How many hashtags should I be using in my posts? Is there a strategy behind hashtags?
- How do I get local people to follow me? Should I just be waiting until they find me with one of my hashtags or should I be actively pursuing them?
- Right now I'm following about 4x the amount that are following me - is that ratio detrimental in any way?
I'd love for you to roast my IG / tell me why it sucks so I can figure out what the heck I'm supposed to be doing! @madfoxphotobooth
