I got hired as a social media manager. Any pointers to ensure my success?

So, I got hired for a social media manager position that I didn't expect to get at all. I think I'm a bit in over my head but maybe I'm being hard on myself. I beat out 300 applicants simply because I provided some sample posts during the interview.
The position is for a startup that has been around since 2017. They are growing extremely fast and hired me because they simply could not keep up with their small team. The VP of the company told me that since they are all so busy I will basically have to work unsupervised and independently. The job is 100% remote as they are constantly traveling world wide to hold conferences. Also my pay is more then I expected to make in the next 10 years. I just recently graduated so this is a mixture of being excited and extremely nervous of failure.
The company is the creator of a new technology that is growing quickly. What they do is very technical and kind of difficult to get a grasp of. I am trying to learn as much as possible about the technology before I start so I can properly promote it.
What I'm asking is does anyone have any tips to get started and provide solid results as soon as possible? They have absolutely zero online presence, so I'm pretty much building this from the ground up.
