Strange - Niche Business Page Growth Stopped

Hi everyone,
I'm building a business page around a niche hobby I'm developing a product for. Other business pages in the niche have anywhere from 1k-25k followers. There are very few pages towards the top end, the majority of business pages in the niche have followers in the 1k-3k range.
Up until a few posts ago I was growing steadily, attracting roughly 400 followers after 20 or so posts. I have noticed in the last week my growth has halted. I am staying at almost exactly 400 followers, losing the odd follower every few days but gaining another the next.
I haven't been using any prohibited apps so the probability of a shadow ban seems low, but I have been manually liking a lot of pictures (I recently liked around 500-700 pics in one go).
I have recently started posting pictures taken by an experienced photographer. The pictures are much better than mine, so I doubt posting higher quality pictures would halt my growth. I have also been experimenting with posting at different times using hootsuite. The times are quite varied so surely this couldn't be the reason for my growth halting entirely.
I haven't changed my hashtags either. I have a collection of around 50 hashtags, and for each post I select around 15 random hashtags and arrange them in a random order. Perhaps it is possible that I have exhausted my hashtags because my niche is so small?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
