Fun ideas for a Boutique Hotel's Instagram?
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
Hey guys - I occasionally pop my head in here to hopefully get some new fun ideas for our Instagram, thanks for sharing all your thoughts and strategies. :)
To summarize I manage the Instagram account for a quite exclusive boutique hotel in the Canary Islands - I started it maybe 3 or so months ago now and we're just about to hit 400 followers. These are genuine followers and I have never used any 'bad' strategies such as mass following and then unfollowing, etc. Just posted nice content and used hashtags.
The hotel has a very nice back garden and pool area, which I have learned, and quite understandably, works best on our Instagram. These pool + garden pictures get the highest engagement and we probably average 80-100 likes per image.
Other than posting images of the pool/garden/rooms, I'm trying to get some fun ideas of what could work to mix the feed up a bit - I have looked at some of the bigger and luxurious hotels in Greece and stuff and some of the hotels there even go so far as doing giveaways for 1 or 2 nights, which obviously drives ridiculously high engagement. Other than that, these accounts don't really differ a lot from what we're doing, hence me asking here.
We have lots of reviews accumulated over the years from sites such as booking/airbnb/tripadvisor etc, I thought about posting pictures with some of our best reviews as an overlay of a nice pool pictures, so our followers get to see some real reviews etc, but I then came to the conclusion that images like that would probably be very uninteresting and don't drive any meaningful engagement.
Would love to hear what some of your people think could work for us.
