I do web / social / content for a real estate agent and I am building her Instagram. She has expressed a desire to have "A LOT of followers".

How damaging to one's reputation is it to have a social media account that is clearly popularized with bought likes / follows?

Or is this something that is pretty much par for the course to getting your social media off the ground?
