Fake Followers and Fake Engagement
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
You may or may not fully understand the level of issues social media has w fake profiles engaging w your content, particularly Facebook. (At another time I’ll write up in depth about it. Just know it’s an issue I believe that is a larger problem than the CA scandal, which they can’t cough up to.)
Across platforms, what are your best tactics or do you have any tips for identifying and purging fake followers?
They ‘re easier to spot on Twitter and Facebook but it still seems to be a very manual and only sort of effective way to get ride of them. Anyone got tips? How about Instagram too?
Take by over an account on Facebook w 100,000+ followers to which I suspect a large chunk are fake or paid. I can’t imagine going 1 by 1.
Thoughts?
