strategic or sus?: dming followers for feedback, updates, and conversation

should i directly dm loyal, new, and potential followers (potential followers as in people who are interacting with our content but have yet to follow the page) about us and if there are any questions, comments, and/or suggestions?
i’m currently in the middle of a brainstorming sesh for coming up with ideas for a company i’m a social media intern for. i thought this would be a good idea as we will engage one-on-one with people and hear them out 100 percent. it will also keep them in the loop and provides a “soundproof” space from all the many other pages they may be following.
it’s sounds like an even more good idea as i am typing this, but i’m also keeping in mind the possible negatives. is this lowkey creepy? would it be annoying? run them away?
