How do you communicate your social analytics to your team/board/funders?

Hi all! I'd love to learn more about how everyone summarizes their data to communicate to non-marketing/social folks. Context: I manage social for a small nonprofit (I'm learning as I go - no official background). Currently, I just give monthly updates to staff to give a quick good/bad report as well as monthly updates to the board, but I'd like to give a bit more substance and show trends. Is there an industry standard for communicating summarized social analytics? Do you have a report you've found works well and is easy for non-marketers to understand?
