I'll try to make this as short as I can. Let me tell you to begin with, I'm a 35 year old man, and had no interest in getting another social media app, especially geared towards young adults, this went on for months, until a few days ago, I bit the bullet and checked it out.

Besides all the dances, lip syncs, and jokes, there's some amazing content on there. I have been going through a really hard time lately....harder than I've ever dealt with in my life. I am not OK....I am dealing with the biggest depressive wave I've ever had in my life the past three nights. But, I have found so many supportive tik toks. I'm talking like, the kind of therapeutic support when you're so broken you break down and bawl your eyes out and your best friend is there is there crying with you, and understanding, and telling you everything is going to be ok. This year has been especially hard, I don't have any friends and it's impossible to meet new people in these times and that has taken such a mental toll on me. This app has been a healthy outlet for me to not feel so alone.
