Why do some high profile Instagram accounts delete their old photos?

Is something changing in Instagram that would make massive accounts delete ALL of their posts except for the most recent 6? One example is @ Skrillex but there are many others (mostly artists Ive seen so far) doing it.
Is it purely because they have large followings and dont care? Is it only an artist/creative thing? I personally very rarely scroll down very far in peoples pages, so I feel like it could make sense that there would be some sort of an incentive to remove old posts.
