How likely is it for a celebrity's deleted account or post to resurface?

We've all seen examples of celebrities getting called out for old accounts they forgot to delete, or tweets from years ago that are still on their public account.
But how likely is it for a deleted account or post to resurface? There's the WayBack machine, but that's hard to navigate if you don't have exact links or usernames. Is it still possible to find deleted accounts or posts?
