How to modify or delete update on LinkedIn business page

Lately we've faced a situation where a LinkedIn post had to be edited. The problem? The platform never let me. I'd click the three little dots, choose "Edit Update", make the change, and when I'd hit "save", it says "Oops - something went wrong. We were unable to post at this time. Please try posting again."
I originally assumed that it was because the post had been scheduled via Hootsuite and the platform was kind of confused. But today I just posted organically to test whether it would let me edit that one, but NIET! Same problem.
What am I doing wrong? What is this platform from Hell that won't let you edit a typo nor delete a post and start over?! I tried troubleshooting with good ol' Google to no avail. Any idea where to turn to?
