Is there a free website/app to calculate how many fake followers an Instagram account has?
Two weeks ago, a friend decided to buy followers for his account, and bumped his following from 200ish followers up to 1,350ish followers in less than 24 hours. I complained to him that it wasn’t going to benefit him in the long run, and he decided to pay for 200 followers for my account. Every single account that started following me had a Russian name and the same pictures on their profiles, and my followers went from around 530ish to around 700. I have an Instagram data tracker app that lets me see how many followers I gain and lose every day, as well as when an account blocks me. I have gone from 700ish followers down to 615 in hardly two weeks, and the majority of the fake followers have unfollowed me and their accounts have vanished, and the few that haven’t been removed by Instagram have blocked my account. My friend who bought his followers has rapidly lost his, going from 1,300+ down to 800 in just a few days before buying more just to keep his numbers up. I don’t want to be in that predicament, and would rather find an app that lists the percentage of fake followers I have and possibly a list of those accounts to go with it so I can just remove them myself. I also naturally gained some new followers from a recent post and don’t want to accidentally remove them. What I’m wondering, is there a website or an app that does something like that? The few that I’ve found want you to either log into your Instagram account, start a free trial that requires putting in your card information, or signing up. I would prefer to avoid doing those if possible, because I know Instagram does actually crack down on using outside Instagram sources sometimes, and would rather be safe than sorry.
