Instagram tagged posts not showing up in profile or notifications

Hey folks, I recently noticed that when my account is featured by another account, I don't get a notification about it or see the tag in the tagged posts section of my profile.
Has anyone had this happen before and found the problem?
Both my account and the account that tagged me are public. The tag/post was not removed, and seems to be working correctly (people are able to see the tagged post and go to my account from there). I have automatic tagging set to on (no approval needed).
