How should I pick Instagram tags?

I've read the same advice everywhere: pick 30 tags and post them as a comment. But, how should I pick those 30 tags? I have around 10 that are really relevant to my content. Should I simply pick the most famous ones as fillers (such as #love, #family, #money)?
