Why do we only see weekly statistics on Instagram (for business account) ?

I can’t find any answer about that online, so maybe here someone will answer to this question: why cannot we have more that weekly statistics? I would like to see and show my client their audience’s evolution on the whole year but you only have access to weekly data. WHY? Thanks a lot to everyone who will give me their clue!
