What exactly are the do's and don'ts of tagging on IG?

So long-story short I signed with a modeling agency before the COVID-19 epidemic and obviously it's not helping my cause. I was very excited about working with them but now things will have to wait for some time, in the meantime I wanted to expand my outreach in terms of my IG page and started to understand the importance of hashtags and who you tag. Is there a general rule in who and how to tag? I fear I may have gone overboard by tagging on multiple posts with the same page instead of tagging them once and letting them explore the page...?
