On Instagram, generally, what kind of post do you guys gain the most followers off?

Do you guys find that it's posts with captions asking people to share (tag other people), or is it simply posts that perform well (get lots of likes/comments/views) that gain more followers?
e.g. Say you get a post with 1000 likes and 200 comments and the caption is something like:
Share with someone who would do this! Follow@[ig account name] Follow@[ig account name]
Or, you get a post with 1100 likes and 220 comments and the caption is like:
Do you think A or B is better? Follow@[ig account name] Follow@[ig account name]
I'm making a new account so those numbers are purely hypothetical, essentially, I'm asking whether or not 'share-friendly' post tend to gain the most followers or is that not necessarily true?
Another layer to this question would be, do 'share-friendly' posts tend to get more likes/comments/views and because of that do they perform better?
