How to use Instagram for software?

I'm an open source developer and have a project I'd like to use Instagram to market / raise awareness / etc. (not ads). I'm really stumped though on how to express it visually. There's not much in the way of people-photos: it's not big enough to have gatherings, contributors are distributed, it's hard to know even who is using the product to get a picture of their office or something.
Could anyone suggest ideas?
