How many hours a week do you work for a single client? What are your responsibilities?

I feel like social media management is uncharted, ever-changing territory. Since it's an emerging field, I think it's really hard to get a grasp on how long things take, why, and how other people do it. I can't tell if I'm slow, fast, doing a lot, or doing too little.
Up until this point, I was posting things manually on Instagram for two of my client's accounts. This took about an hour, or sometimes two, daily.
I have recently invested in Later and this has definitely cut down my daily times... to sometimes zero, depending... but obviously the planning and schedule setup can take a few hours initially - through editing photos, arranging, rearranging, writing copy, think of / selecting hashtags.... etc.
I want to get a sense of what this is like for other people!
For a single client, how many hours do you work per week?
What is the breakdown of that time? What tasks are you completing?
What is your average time per post... not just getting it up there but curating, editing, captioning, tagging, etc?
I am more specifically wondering about Instagram but if you manage other media as well, please include that in the breakdown!
Additionally, for this service, what is your hourly rate? If you're willing to share of course... or just the general rate range that tends to be the norm for this work?
