Help: Action Blocked on Instagram because of colleague's actions on his personal account

Hey guys,
I'm hoping someone here can help me (since Facebook is really not helping at all).
Basically, my business account has been action blocked from commenting or posting images with captions. The reason for this (I 100% think) is because one of my colleagues, who is also logged in to our business IG account, went on an unfollow spree last night. He unfollowed 1.2K people on his personal account and got action blocked as well.
Now, we didn't do any of this in our business account, nor are we using any services to like/follow/comment etc.
I already chatted with a Facebook representative, explained everything, showed screenshots etc. and her response was "there is nothing we can do, action blocks can't be waivered, you have to wait until the block is over". Is this bullshit? Has anyone ever been able to contest and lift and action block? It's a 7 day block, this is terrible for us :(
