why is my Facebook ads keep disappearing.

I have a winning ad that has been running for almost 3 months ago. I checked the Ads manager only today to find out my post has been disappeared with an error message "This ad can't be edited because the ad type is no longer supported or the original post used in the ad was removed." Please does anybody here got an idea of what is really going on?
