Is social media culture destroying itself?

Interested to hear people's thoughts on this. I was discussing with my brother last night how Tinder has essentially ruined modern dating, even though the concept of the platform itself seems like a good one that would enable people to connect. Same thing with Instagram. I've began noticing more and more of my female friends are beginning to share essentially almost naked photos of themselves under the banner of "confidence". I don't want to criticise people trying to feel better in their own skin, but there was a time where if photos of yourself wearing skimpy underwear got leaked online, the person would be so embarrassed. Now it's almost the norm for young people to actively share it.
I just wonder how much longer this flood of content can go on. Not just the sexual-themed stuff either, more and more people want to hop on the YouTuber or Influencer bandwagon now and just by the sheer volume of content, it is devaluing itself surely? I don't really have any evidence to back up any of these opinions, and they're just opinions/observations. I'm interested to hear if other people have noticed similar or are themselves becoming disillusioned with what these websites and apps are becoming.
