Two Twitter accounts : confusing ?

Hi,
I am an author who write webcomics. I have a dedicated page for my webcomic (@webcomicname) with 5k followers, but I want to create other things that this (pretty niche) webcomic. So I created another account under the name @authorname. On this account I only have 200 followers.
But I don't want to confuse people and, well, it seems confusing. Do you think these two accounts thing is a bad idea ?
Also maybe should I switch these two accounts name and @, like changing @webcomicname into @authorname and vice versa, so my account @username would suddenly get 5k followers. But I am afraid this could backfire somehow ?
On facebook I have two distinct pages and on Instagram I have an account @authorname (where I post my webcomic) and one account @webcomicname with only one picture that redirects to my instagram account @authorname.
What do you think ?
