I was recently offered a promotion to get my company's (a home accessory manufacturer) social back up and running. We went dark on social over 6 months ago, and at the time we were sitting at about 1400 followers with little to no engagement and generally product-focused posts.
I'm tasked with coming up with a plan, including budgeting recommendations. While I have a general idea of the content I want to do, why, and goals, I'm completely at a lost about how much to allocate, especially since this company has not ran social ads before and has a much wider audience than the company I previously managed social for.
Any recommendations, or better yet, resources I can look at to help determine a beginning social media budget? At the moment, the marketing department as a whole does not currently have a budget.
