How to pick the right niche on Instagram and be less self-concious about what I post?

I’ve been doing the influencer thing for a half a year now and I’m aware I am not doing it that good. I have over thousand followers, but would definitely need more. I want to be a public figure/blogger, but also have a certain niche I can talk about and post. I want to be different than the rest, stand out, but not too much so people would like my content and follow me. I think my biggest problem is getting too overly self-concious about what I post and what would people think. How do I stop this and find a good niche? A niche I am somewhat passionate about and I can make money of? I am interested in music, but I am not a musician myself, but I’d love to post about music, dress in alternative style and get my followers free or discount festival tickets. I don’t think anybody does this so it would be cool. But will it work? Cause I don’t wanna be too much alternative, I wanna find the sweet spot between alt and mainstream (like other instagram models).
Okay, this has turned into a rant. But I’m sorry guys, I’ve been trying to figure this Instagram thing for so long for my brand and nothing seems to work. I would be glad if you would share some good advice and topics I could post on.
