I can't create my instagram account

Hello everyone,
I finally decided to make an instagram accont, but I just can't do it for some reason. Whenever I try, it says "Sorry, something went wrong creating your account. Please try again soon." And what upsets me even more is that when I try again with the same email and username, it says that another account is using that username and email. What the hell is going on here? Can anyone help?
