how can I track my instagram growth in the past years - for free?

hi , i'm managing an instagram account for a University and today my boss asked me to pull out a report showing the followers growth in the past year. the problem is instagram insights only shows the past 7 days or so, and i dont have a budget to pay any of those popular analytic tools/platforms out there (like hootsuite, buffer etc). So my question is: is there a free tool/way of discovering how many followers i had last year? thanks a lot
