Facebook giving me a general error message when I try to make a new post.

My Timeline, a group, or anything. Sharing is okay, but when I try to post a new anything it fails and gives me the general "oops" something went wrong."
I can reply, but I can't post anything new. Not on a group or my timeline or even a friend's timeline. All time out and fail.
In addition, going to FB's help page gives me a "Let's get started!" pop up that can not be cleared, removes, accepted, or otherwise started.
