Twitter/YouTube Growth Help??

Okay so I started my YouTube channel and so far I’m at 950 subscribers and I started using VidIQ Boost to help better optimize my videos. It’s helping a bit, but I’m trying to figure out how to really grow and get more views consistently.
Twitter I used to be good at when you could mass follow/unfollow but I’m not sure if that method really even works anymore. Does anyone have any tips for YouTube or Twitter or maybe even both on how to really grow and expand?
