[Question] Facebook Page Rating Out Of 5 - Recommend vs Not Recommend
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J

I'm managing a page that has gotten years worth of star ratings. For awhile we have held fairly steady around 3.8 or 3.9 stars. Now that Facebook is pushing people to more of a Recommend vs Not Recommend model, I'm trying to figure out how it changes our overall rating (they don't even call them stars anymore) and I'm wondering if anybody has some insight into how they play in.

The main thing I've noticed is that since mid-September, we have gotten only Recommend or 5-star reviews, but it seems like our rating has gone down. We were at 3.9, but now we are sitting at 3.8. This is based on the opinion of 256 people.

Facebook's explanation into what goes into rating is:

What goes into this rating?
This rating is based on how many people recommend or don't recommend your Page on Facebook, as well as any past star ratings and reviews it may have.

It is entirely possible that I'm misremembering what our rating was before, but I wanted to start the discussion in case anybody else has noticed similar trends or if anybody can shed the light on how Facebook is calculating these ratings now.
