How to Advertise Baby Shower Gifts?

Hi r/socialmedia! I manage several social media accounts, including running Facebook Ads for some and am struggling in particular for one.
I've been trying to reach an audience that I don't know HOW to get in front of and I'm frustrated - and sad. The particular client came to us as her last ditch effort before she abandons her company all together, so I'd love to see if I can get any input from you lovely people.
The product is a higher end baby shower gift. We've tried targeted broader audiences on Facebook such as women in the age range of xx to xx, but we haven't had a single conversion or assisted conversion. We've additionally tried targeting women who may be close to becoming pregnant (difficult) by targeting those newly engaged with the assumption that a percent of them may soon be thinking of babies and want this gift on their registry.
So - do you all have an suggestions? Facebook PPC isn't my strong point, but I really want this client to succeed.
