Fucked up w an Instagram promo (advice!)

So I had my first paid promotion, put up a post on my story under the assumption I’d be paid the following day but I was never paid. When I approached the people regarding it they claimed they thought it was free even though they’d promised me the payment and I’d sent them my paypal. I’ve sent them the evidence proving otherwise which they’re just ignoring now. It’s only for £5 so I’m not overly fussed about the money, it’s just the principle of it all. Is there anything I can do to chase this further or should I just take the L and learn from my mistake of not doing cash up front?
