With Halloween fast approaching, it’s easy to let the time pass by then resort to wearing last minute cat ears and head-to-toe black. Rather than heading to the Halloween store, where the available costumes are corny at best and poor quality spandex monstrosities at worst, might we suggest a compromise? The easiest way to put together a lazy-yet-still cool costume is by borrowing clothes you already have in your closet, or purchasing items that you’re likely to wear again post Pumpkin Day.

This Halloween, we’re turning to our favourite film characters like Vivian Ward from Pretty Woman and Cher Horowitz from Clueless for some classic costume inspiration.
