Accidentally ran a (useless) FB ad and am getting charged $250. What can I do?

I am totally new to Facebook ads and was trying a few different variations of ads. I had been using the promotions tab in my business page. All of the ads listed there are inactive, which I checked multiple times after deciding to stop running ads. But apparently there was one in the ads manager, which wasn't listed in the promotions tab, which was continuously running! And I just got the notification "You reached your $250 billing threshold and are being charged." Is there anything I can do???
