Responding to a sensitive comment on social media
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J

Hey /r/SocialMedia, I manage a company's social media accounts, and recently we've been running a paid carousel ad featuring images of people doing household chores, including: a man screwing a screw into the floor, a woman washing a window, a couple moving, and a woman gardening. Last night we had a comment on the ad saying "Why promote outdated gender roles by having a female in the image for cleaning?????". Right now the comment is hidden, but I feel like best-practice would be to respond, but I have no idea how to break it to this lady that when you search for "cleaning" on shutterstock, 90% of the images are female models? Any suggestions?
