In what ways can I use Social Media to help with user stickiness and retention on my app?

Hey there! I am a social media manager for a tech start-up, we specialise in wedding planning. I was wondering if anyone knows practical ways to use social as a way to improve user retention.
This is what I have so far:
Post "how to's" of your app tools on social
Re-target users with new tools and features
Engage with users on social, ask for feedback and be responsive
Share more real testimonials
Add "share on social" buttons to app and site
Let me know what you think of these - it's just a high-level brainstorm, I was hoping to get some more ideas, that have actually been proven to work...
