Advice for how to organise posts on a new promotional Instagram account?
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
I recently opened an Instagram account to promote sales, events and good deals in my area. Its mostly fashion and beauty finds in stores, photos of food from restaurants I visit, etc. I’d like it to be fun looking, but also that people come to my account every time they want to find out about a sale or good deal. All of the photos on the account now were taken by me (on an iPhone, and tweaked for quality) My aim is to eventually be able to monetise the account by charging local businesses to be featured in my posts.
However, I’d like to start reposting from other stores’ and businesses’ accounts. Sometimes they post posters or graphics to promote upcoming events or sales. For example, a bank is having a Finance 101 session for young adults this weekend, and I think it’d be a great thing to share.
What would be the best way to share these posts to my account? Should I put them in my stories, which disappear after 24 hours? Or would it be better to upload them as an actual post on my account and eventually delete it after the event or sale has passed? In either way, I’d tag the business’ name in it.
I would really like for businesses and stores to look at my account and see potential for advertising with me. However I don’t want my feed to look too tacky and promotional. What would be the best way to achieve that?
The account is @barbadianista if anyone would like to take a look. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
