Question about Facebook Copyright and Intellectual Property
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J

I am a social media manager and create original content for company Facebook pages. When I was first starting out last year I offered to make content for an event company in exchange for exposure at their event and credit on the posts. I uploaded the posts myself as an admin on the Facebook page.

That was the deal for one event back in 2017. I am no longer in control of their social media accounts.

They have a new social media manager who has downloaded the videos that I made and is re-uploading them without permission and with no credit or exposure for my work. Violating our original agreement.

According to Facebook this does fall under copyright infringement for intellectual property. However, since it is “stolen” from their own Facebook page... do you think I have a case?

I messaged them asking for at least credit if they are going to repost my work but they never responded. I am thinking of reporting the posts for copyright infringement on Facebook.
