How do you best manage a boys boarding school's social media?

I've been given the keys to the schools insta, facebook, linkedin, twitter and their blog page. The blog needs a lot of work but that is something I feel decently comfortable fixing (any advice will be appreciate though).
Post scheduling and optimizing impact is what I mostly need help with. They also post a lot of blogs/news update about the school on their own website (3 a week) and they use facebook,linked in and twitter to bring people in the network to their content on the schools website. It normally average once a day during the week with two posts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Is that too much? Not enough? What sort of post would be best? Should I aim to keep parents entertained or market to prospective students?
