Cheap way to track basic social media stats of 10 competitors?

I am trying to track a few companies activity on FB, IG and Linkedin. Nothing fancy, since my biggest competitor has around 1k likes/followers.
Is there a Google Docs or similar just to count likes and alert on new posts on a weekly basis?
I really didn't want to splurge on something like hootsuite, since that's clearly too much for my basket!
